Kincardine’s 7th Marine Heritage Festival returned this summer on Saturday, August 28, after being cancelled last year due to Covid.

The days events included a virtual tour of the BRIGS Youth Sail Training Tall Ship, which was docked in the harbour, free tours at the Walker House Museum and Kincardine Boat Cruises.

Fun at Station beach included the Cardboard Boat Regatta – a fun event that challenges participants to build the strongest boat out of household items. The Kincardine Fire & Emergency Services had a beach safety display on all day, and were there answering questions.

The Promenade on Queen has been a huge hit for it’s second summer, and provided live entertainment from James Keelaghan in the afternoon.
